  7. Can you share a little about the history of Biggers & Callaham?
  8. Born out of a love for animals and the entrepreneurial spirit, Biggers & Callaham has experienced dramatic growth from a basement in November 2002 to their current status of two 2700 square foot buildings. As lifelong hobbyists and lovers of many types of reptiles, John Callaham and Heath Biggers began working together breeding high-quality freezer rodents to sell to the reptile and bird-of-prey community and to use for their own reptiles. They named their company MiceDirect and began to ship their frozen feeder rodents all over the country.

They began making their own racks after trying out other racks that were on the market, and not finding one that they felt was adequate to meet their high standards of excellence. They began to experiment with designs and materials to correct problems with racks that they dealt with for their own purposes, and came up with a product that was exactly what they had been looking for. Every rack they made was welded in their facilities and created by hand, and the huge demand for their racks led to the creation of their Kreature Keeperª dba.

In August, 2004, Biggers & Callaham celebrated the Grand Opening of their newest venture, the North Ga corn Maze, which was very successful and provided a source of increased tourism to their local area in addition to adding another branch to their company. And here are the KK menu items that are still wrong: reptile, large and our products.
